In forty-eight hours our itinerary says we should be at Bristol Airport checking-in at the Ryan Air desk (no frills!) Between now and then there’s quite a lot to do. Writing this entry is actually on the ‘To Do’ list as: ‘Set up WordPress blog’. I’m really hoping this will be easy – sharing words and pictures from our trip to Poland while we’re there.
Snow boots are ready to be packed (Peter is concerned about the weather – “It’s snowing and minus seventeen degrees in Walsall!” – he actually means to say Warsaw, but we’re working on that). There’s a rather involved ‘List for Helen’ to help her take charge of the children while we’re away. Sufficient supplies of stuff you need when you go away have been bought. A thousand other things are hastily being ticked-off the list and as always on these occasions, there’s a major work project about to land in our email Inbox that must be completed before we leave. As yet it hasn’t arrived.
So, we’re preparing for Poland.
To be honest, I know most of the above is actually just detail. The real preparation has already been done.
